In honor of the upcoming wide release of Lynn Shelton’s enjoyable mumblecore comedy Humpday, here’s a link to my original SXSW review — which starts off with a tirade against My Suicide, a film I disliked intensely at the time in part because I thought it was going to be more of an undeserving indie darling than it turned out to be.
Now, in retrospect (and especially after Scott Von Doviak and I discussed it with a participant in the production via The Worst Show On The Web), I still think My Suicide is a bad movie, but it rankles me a lot less than, say, the box office for Transformers: The Headache Continues.
