The Latest Surrender (349)

It’s astonishing (at least in my experience) how little of a writer’s time is spent on writing, since the actual creative work is surrounded by endless hours of networking, promoting, tracking down payments…or (again, in my case, over the past week) fruitlessly attempting to copy over supposedly industry standard book cover and interior text formatting from one distribution platform to another.

But I’m officially giving up as of now, and will thus make even less than the nothing I was expecting on the print edition of my novel.

Next up:  eBook formatting, which will hopefully be a bit less frustrating and financially ruinous.

Writing.  Feh.
